We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to move into the role of Quality and Innovation Technician based in Chifley Park. Reporting to the Development Chef Team Leader, you will provide support the management of all stock items, consumables and equipment for the Culinary and Technical Centres at Chifley Park and provide administrative support.
As well as assisting the Development Chef Team Leader with all aspects of working and preparing food in the Culinary Centre and Technical Centre.
Key responsibilities (not limited to)
- Assist with all Sensory functions including Sensory pre-planning, preparation and cooking of products for Sensory, data entry and session bookings
- Maintain a clean organised work environment in the Culinary Centre and Technical Centre liaising with contract cleaners and tradesmen for specialist work.
- Book and manage the use of couriers for both sending and receiving of samples, items and equipment.
- Manage effective external supplier relationships to ensure the cost effective delivery of food items.
To be a successful candidate you will have a strong background in Cookery especially in food preparation and evaluation in an FMCG business. You have a passion for food, strong administrative experience, and a keenness to learn. You also possess strong interpersonal skills in order to understand and meet customer requirements and strong planning skills. A current Food handling certificate is preferred.
