Due to internal movement, we have an exciting permanent opportunity for a motivated and agile Brand Manager to join our Seafood, Snacks & Meal Components category team based at our Mentone head office.
Reporting into the Marketing Manager – Seafood, Snacks & Meal Components, you will lead the I&J brand. You will drive your brand to ensure achievement of relevant targets for profitability, growth, innovation and equity of those brands and products. In addition, you will lead the development and execution of the category and brand strategic integrated business plans, working closely with cross-functional teams to execute a defined set of strategic initiatives.
As Brand Manager, you will play an integral role in the Seafood, Snacks & Meal Components team, developing and executing business plans and product innovation plans to ensure the delivery of profitable brand growth.
You will understand the demands of the grocery retail channel and display a high level of initiative, personal drive and motivation. Proven experience in managing multiple projects from ideation to implementation in a cross functional environment is a must, as are strong strategic planning and organising skills. You will also have excellent communication and innovation management skills.
Your drive for results will ensure you actively:
- Develop and launch new products & packaging innovation to market leveraging qualitative and quantitative research where appropriate
- Lead the development and implementation of the communication plan – including ATL and digital, alongside the Marketing Manager
- Support the category management and sales team for key brand initiatives
- Manage the brand planning process for I&J
- Actively lead the development of in-store & customer marketing initiatives
- Monitor performance of brand across all key metrics including P&L management and tracking of scan data/ market share
The successful candidate will have experience at Brand Manager Level within FMCG. You will have experience managing a portfolio of products and A&P budget, with a degree qualification in Marketing or equivalent. You will already be proficient in the use of insights, creation of presentations and briefs. You will have strong commercial acumen and be an energetic, enthusiastic and proactive team player. Your excellence at leading NPDs from ideation to implementation will be instrumental in your success.
