The Victorian regional town of Echuca is a 3-hour drive from Melbourne and set within the gum trees of the iconic Murray River. A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Production Planner to join the team to develop a set Production Plan that provides the Plant with the best opportunity of achieving manufacturing key performance targets. Reporting to the Production Manager and managing a small team, you will work through internal and external events that may require changes to the plan. As a result, the Production Planner needs to be flexible, able to react promptly, explore options, discuss ideas with key stakeholders and devise an alternative plan that still attains KPI and customer needs. In addition, the Production Planner needs to constantly review the plan and associated systems and processes to identify opportunities to further optimize the production plant, reduce waste, reduce changeovers and increase OEE run rates to achieve Class A targets.
You ideally are a self-starter holding previous planning experience within a FMCG (Food) manufacturing environment. You are systematic in your approach and are technically savvy with advanced / intermediate Excel. Experience with ERP (or multiple systems) will be experience highly desirable. Experience in S&OP, supply chain planning or demand planning would be ideal.
